This weeks One In Prayer request is in celebration of Portugal's extremely effective transition towards Clean and Renewable Energy sources.  Portugal stands as a clear example of what is possible when a people, their government, and industry cooperate together for real and lasting change.  Nearly 45% of Portugal's power is now clean energy, up from 17% five years ago.  May all countries be inspired by this clear demonstration of what is possible.  May initiative, ingenuity, vision, boldness and far sightedness be present in all business leaders, political leaders, and energy policy makers throughout the world.  May we all as individuals hold ourselves and our leaders accountable - guided by the awareness that our actions have ramifications for generations to come.  May green technology and green consciousness continue to grow and evolve with speed, grace and absolute ease.  May we all be blessed with the creativity and courage to transform and re-imagine any activities that contribute to the destruction of this beautiful planet.
